Dear Redeemer Family,

Many of you may be aware of FOUNDATIONS, our three-year equipping program for Christian living. For those who are not, please allow us to introduce and commend it to you as a vital part of your growth in loving God and others.

FOUNDATIONS classes are offered during the Discipleship Hour, 9:30-10:30 a.m., on Sunday mornings. Each course is eight-weeks with two in the Fall and two in the Spring. That’s twelve courses over the span of three years.

FOUNDATIONS COURSE GUIDE

The program is strategically designed with coherence and cohesion in mind. The aim is to foster doctrinal and spiritual development as the student follows the course guide through the curriculum completing the courses for each previous year before moving to the next year.

This Sunday, October 25th, the Fall 2 courses begin; Year 1: Studying Scripture: Hermeneutics for the Church; Year 2: Christian Doctrine 1.

Alongside the Apostle Paul, we make it our aim:

To make the word of God fully known, 26 the mystery hidden for ages and generations but now revealed to his saints. 27 To them God chose to make known how great among the Gentiles are the riches of the glory of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. 28 Him we proclaim, warning everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that we may present everyone mature in Christ. 29 For this I toil, struggling with all his energy that he powerfully works within me (Col 1:25b-29).

Equipping God’s people to delight in His glory and declare that glory to our neighbors and the nations.
