Observance of the Lord’s Supper this Sunday. Please use this weekend to examine yourself and your relationships with others according to 1 Corinthians 11:27-33, that we may together brightly reflect the unity of the body of Christ when we come together at the Lord’s table this Sunday.

Help Decorate the Worship Center for Advent: TOMORROW, Saturday, December 2, 9:00 a.m. – noon. Come help us “deck the halls” for Advent. If you are available to help with preparations, please contact Julia Stonecipher.

All-Church December Potluck Meal: THIS Sunday, December 3, following the worship service in Fellowship Hall. Bring a dish to share and join in on the fellowship! All are invited, both members and visitors.

Lottie Moon Christmas Offering: The elders invite all to participate in the Lottie Moon Christmas offering. Each year, thousands of Southern Baptists churches, like ourselves, partner in this effort to support missionaries. 100% of the money collected goes directly to overseas missionary efforts and makes up almost 60% of the International Mission Board’s budget from year to year. To give, simply designate “Lottie Moon” in the memo line of your check. For more information, click here.

Discipleship Hour Winter Break: Sunday, December 10, will be the last Sunday for Discipleship Hour (Children’s D.I.G. Sunday School, Adult Bible Study classes, & Student Ministry classes) this year. Classes will resume on January 21.

Graduate Recognition: Sunday, December 10. If you are a member of Redeemer Church or pursuing membership and are graduating from high school, college, seminary, or an academy or vocational institute this Fall 2017 semester, please contact Gary Brumley no later than Thursday, December 7 in order to participate in a graduate recognition during the worship service on Sunday, December 10

Go Caroling with the Choir! Sunday, December 17, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. You are invited to join the Advent Choir to share carols heralding the coming of Christ with residents of the James L West Alzheimer Center at 2:00 p.m., and Brookdale Tanglewood Oaks Senior Center 3:00 p.m. Being a member of the choir is not necessary. We will sing several traditional carols and spend time visiting with residents of these facilities. We will meet at these locations! If you are interested in carpooling, please post in the event on The City.

Membership Matters New Members Class: Sundays, January 21 – February 25, 9:15-10:15 a.m., in the Education Building. Membership Matters will provide you with information about Redeemer, as well as answer questions about what it means to be a believer in Christ. You will also have an opportunity to learn about how to get involved in our community of faith. Though this course is a prerequisite for membership at Redeemer, anyone can and is encouraged to attend. See schedule on The City. For more information and course materials, visit our website at
