Welcome New Members: May the Lord grant us to walk in close covenant community with Greg & Diane Ferguson who were received into membership at the May members’ meeting. A current membership list can be downloaded here.

Men’s Retreat: TONIGHTFriday-Saturday, May 25-26. The world can be a confusing place when it comes to manhood, even for Christians. You’re invited to explore this important topic at “Man Alive! Becoming the Man You Were Reborn to Be.” Besides sessions of instruction, testimony, and prayer, you will have the unique opportunity to grow in community and meet new brothers as we fix up a home to use in future ministry. We will meet, stay, and work at Gary Trojacek’s property less than 30 minutes west of the church. Cost: $25. Scholarships are available upon request. Contact Mike Branch. Full schedule and registration is on our website.

Singles Fellowship: Friday, June 1, 6:00 p.m., at the Hare home (308 Cahill Oval, River Oaks, TX 76114). All Redeemer Church singles (college age and up) are invited. Contact Sheri Hare for more information.

First Sunday Lunch & Prayer: Sunday, June 3, 1:00 p.m., in Fellowship Hall. Please join us this evening for fellowship over food and in prayer. Questions? Contact Wes Duggins.

Membership Matters New Members Class: Beginning Sunday, June 3 – July 8, 9:15-10:15 a.m., in the Education Building. Membership Matters will provide you with information about Redeemer, as well as answer questions about what it means to be a believer in Christ. You will also have an opportunity to learn about how to get involved in our community of faith. Though this course is a prerequisite for membership at Redeemer, anyone can and is encouraged to attend. Sign up on The City.

Ladies Craft Fellowship: Saturday, June 99:00 a.m. – noon, in Fellowship Hall. Contact Julia Stonecipher for current project information.

Women’s Summer Bible Study: Mondays, June 18-July 30, 7:00-9:00 p.m., at the Powell Home (5800 Trail Lake Dr, 76133). Join us as we study Psalms 16, 32, 33, 37, 42, & 43 with Kathleen Nielson’s book Psalms, Songs Along the Way. “Psalms… the well-worn hymnbook and prayer book of generations of those who have put their faith in the one Lord God… a well-traveled and blessed way!” Cost: $12. Childcare not provided. Questions? Contact Linda Huffman.

Vacation Bible Camp | Genesis 1 Space Probe: Calling all space cadets for a fun-fueled, time-traveling mission back to the dawn of time! “Eyewitness” storytellers will transport young Astronauts deep into the book of Genesis where they joyfully encounter their Personal Creator and discover they were made to love and worship the very Lord of the Universe! Vacation Bible Camp will take place, Thursday-Saturday, June 28-30, 6:30-8:00 p.m. and one final session on Sunday, July 1, 9:00-10:15 a.m. Children ages 5-12 are invited. Bring your kids and their friends! Register your child at www.redeemerfortworth.org/vbc. Questions? Contact Laura McElroy.

Servants Needed: The nursery ministry will be beginning a new quarter of scheduling. As always, we are in need of servant-hearted members willing to love and care for our youngest children. If you have a child in nursery, please make sure you are on the rotation. Even if you don’t have small children, please consider serving as a way to build up the health of our whole body as we show small children Jesus’ love and free up parents to worship and feast on the Word. Apply at www.redeemerfortworth.org/volunteer. Please contact Rachel Rogers with any questions.

Weekly Evans Plaza Outreach: Join us Tuesdays, 7:15 p.m., at Evans Plaza (next door to the Shamblee Branch Public Library – 1062 Evans Ave, 76104) for our time of food distribution and Gospel outreach. This is a weekly event. For more information contact Wes Duggins.

Fighter Verse: “To the contrary, ‘if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.’ Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.” (Romans 12:20-21 ESV, FV 3.21)
