3rd Annual Redeemer Church Chili Cook-Off: This Sunday, January 28, following the service, in Fellowship Hall. Bring your best pot of chili and your appetite. Judges will choose a winning chili in this spirited trophy competition. Out of kindness to our judges, we are limiting the number of chili entries to 10. If not entering a chili, consider bringing a side (salad, cornbread, vegetable, fruit), kid’s dish, or dessert to share. Sign-up on The City.

Prayer for Parents with New Children: Sunday, February 18, the elders would like to set aside a time at the beginning of corporate worship to pray for parents with new children. Whether by birth or adoption, the Lord has given us a number of new blessings over the past year, and we want to recognize our responsibility as a church to serve one another in shepherding these young souls and to pray for God’s grace to sustain us in gospel ministry to them. Because of the dual nature of this prayer time (i.e., parents’ commitment to the church and the church’s commitment to parents), we believe these commitments can only be meaningfully made in the context of church membership. So, if you are a member of new children, please let us know of your desire to participate by Thursday, February 15, by messaging Gary Brumley. If you’re not yet a member, please know future opportunities will come for you and your child(ren). No age limit.

Men’s Breakfast: Saturday, February 3, 8:00 – 10:00 a.m., in Fellowship Hall. Join us for a time of food, fellowship, and sharing. Chad Stevens will be speaking to us on ministry to men in the church. Donations accepted. Sign up on The City
