Neighborhood Easter Picnic: Sunday, April 1, following worship in our east parking lot. Bring a dessert to share! VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED for children’s craft stations, activities, setup, etc. To volunteer for setup contact Andrew Engstrom. April Sack Lunch Members Meeting: Sunday, April 8, 12:45 – 2:15 p.m., (or beginning 45 minutes following the close of the worship gathering) in Fellowship Hall.

Game Night: Friday, April 13, 6:00 p.m., in Fellowship Hall. Bring your favorite table games or snacks for a game night hosted by the West Care Group. Enjoy the fun, stay as long as you like, and leave when you must. Questions? Contact Gary Trojacek.

Eastern Europe Summer Missions Fundraiser Luncheon: Sunday, April 22, following the service, in Fellowship Hall. Make plans to attend and support our team traveling to visit our missionaries serving in Eastern Europe. Menu: TBA. Questions? Contact Becky Beckham.

Women Mentoring Women: The Women Encouraging Women ministry team would like to invite all ladies of Redeemer to participate in our mentoring program. If you are already participating in this ministry and want to shuffle to a different group for the next quarter (May – July) or if you are interested in joining for the first time, please fill out a form located in the foyer and place the form in the WEW box by Sunday, April 22. You will be contacted via The City email before May 1 with the names of the ladies in your mentoring group. If you do not hear from us by May 1 or if you would like more information, please contact Dawn Isbell or Sheri Hare on The City.

Spring Meal Mixer: Those participating in the mixer, please remember to contact the person(s) on your Spring Meal Mixer card and arrange to share a meal with them sometime before Redeemer’s anniversary on Sunday, May 6

13th Anniversary Church Picnic: Sunday, May 6, at Central Park. Join us as we enjoy a time of fellowship together celebrating our 13th anniversary as a church. 

Vacation Bible Camp: Planning is underway! Join the “Vacation Bible Camp 2018” group on The City and/or contact Laura McElroy to help. Save the following dates:

  • VBC Setup: Wednesday, June 27.
  • Vacation Bible Camp: Thursday-Saturday evenings, June 28-30.
  • Family Breakfast: Sunday, July 1, before the worship service.

Mission Utah 2018: Possible dates are June 29-July 5. We are considering flying this year to save time on the road. Costs are still to be determined but should be about the same as in previous years. The Manti pageant will not be the focus. Instead, there will be times of sharing in a local park and manning a booth. If you are interested, please contact Gary Trojacek.

New Spring Schedule for Weekly Evans Plaza Outreach: Join us Tuesdays, 7:15 p.m., at Evans Plaza (next door to the Shamblee Branch Public Library – 1062 Evans Ave, 76104) for our time of food distribution and Gospel outreach. This is a weekly event. For more information contact Wes Duggins.
