Welcome Fall Picnic: THIS Sunday, September 24, noon – 4:00 p.m., at Central Park. Join us as we welcome the arrival of fall and enjoy a time of fellowship together. The picnic will begin shortly following the morning worship gathering and end when you’ve had your fill of food, fun, and fellowship. Burgers, hot dogs, and drinks will be served on a pay-what-you-can basis. Consider bringing a dessert to share. There will be a bounce house and games for children as well as organized softball games. Bring your glove!

First Sunday Dinner & Prayer: Sunday, October 1, 6:00 p.m., in Fellowship Hall. Please join us this evening for fellowship over food and in prayer. Sign up on The City to bring a food item.

Baby Shower for Nate & Abbey Byford: Saturday, October 7, 2:00-4:00 p.m., in Fellowship Hall. Join us in anticipating the arrival of the Byford’s first child (they do not know the gender)! Come-and-go; snacks and dessert will be served. They are registered at www.babylist.com/byford. Hosted by the Central Care Group.

Fall Children’s Choir: Mondays, 4:00 – 5:00 p.m., upstairs in the Education Building. Children, ages 5-12, are invited to have fun learning about music while preparing songs for the worship service. If you have any questions, please contact Adrian Maddox.

Women’s Fall Bible Study: Mondays, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., September 11 – December 4, in the conference room at Redeemer Church. Ladies, come explore the encouraging vision from Titus 2 using Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth’s book, “Adorned: Living out the Beauty of the Gospel Together.” We will study one of God’s good and beautiful plans for discipleship — woman to woman, older and younger, side by side, and life to life. Contact Linda Huffman to reserve a book.

October Sack Lunch Members Meeting: Sunday, October 8, 12:45 – 2:15 p.m., (or beginning 45 minutes following the close of the worship gathering) in Fellowship Hall.

Fall Women’s Retreat: Friday, October 20, 6:00 p.m. – Saturday, October 21, 8:00 p.m., at Redeemer Church. The theme of our retreat is None Like Him: The God of No Limits. Join us for teaching led by Sylvia Dipnarinesingh and Donna Dean, worshipful music and testimonies, as well as good food, opportunities for small group and one-on-one fellowship, crafts, and other activities. Overnight accommodations will be available in the education building of the church. Registration is $45, includes 4 meals, craft activity, and resource book, None Like Him by Jen Wilkin. Place a $20 deposit and receive the book immediately.

Servants Needed: The nursery ministry will be beginning a new quarter of scheduling. As always, we are in need of servant-hearted members willing to love and care for our youngest children. If you have a child in the nursery, please make sure you are on the rotation. Even if you don’t have small children, please consider serving as a way to build up the health of our whole body as we show small children Jesus’ love and free up parents to worship and feast on the Word. The application is here. Please contact Rachel Rogers with any questions.
