Observance of the Lord’s Supper this Sunday. Please use this weekend to examine yourself and your relationships with others according to 1 Corinthians 11:27-33, that we may together brightly reflect the unity of the body of Christ when we come together at the Lord’s table this Sunday.

Game Night: Tonight, Friday, October 13, 6:00 p.m., in Fellowship Hall. Bring your favorite table games or snacks for a game night hosted by the West Care Group. Enjoy the fun, stay as long as you like, and leave when you must. Questions? Contact Gary Trojacek.

Ladies Craft Fellowship: Tomorrow, Saturday, October 149:00 a.m. – noon, in Fellowship Hall. Contact Julia Stonecipher for current project information.

Fall Women’s Retreat: Friday, October 20, 6:00 p.m. – Saturday, October 21, 8:00 p.m., at Redeemer Church. The theme of our retreat is None Like Him: The God of No Limits. Join us for teaching led by Sylvia Dipnarinesingh and Donna Dean, worshipful music and testimonies, as well as good food, opportunities for small group and one-on-one fellowship, crafts, and other activities. Overnight accommodations will be available in the education building of the church. Registration is $45 and includes four meals, a craft activity, and the resource book, None Like Him by Jen Wilkin. Place a $20 deposit and receive the book immediately. Please consider donating an item or gift of service to be given as a door prize at the retreat. All items should be given to Sylvia Dipnarinesingh or Alaina Petree by Sunday, October 15. If you are in need of scholarship help for registration or desire to contribute towards a scholarship, please see Donna Dean.

Encouraging Wednesdays | Finding Rest in the Holidays: Wednesday, October 25, 6:30-8:30 p.m., in Fellowship Hall. Ladies, come and enjoy a time of food and fellowship. We’ll share funny holiday stories and Rachel Rogers will encourage us to find rest during the upcoming busy holiday season. Soup, salad, and dessert are on the menu. Bring something to share or just bring yourself.

Singles Fellowship: Friday, October 27, 6:00 p.m., at the Hare home (308 Cahill Oval, River Oaks, TX 76114). All Redeemer Church singles (college age and up) are invited. Contact Sheri Hare for more information.

Men’s Breakfast: Saturday, October 28, 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. Guest Speaker: Ricky Chelette, Executive Director of Living Hope Ministries, which seeks to minister to those who experience gender dysphoria and/or same-sex attraction. Ricky will seek to equip our church know how better to respond to those afflicted with these types of sexual brokenness with the gospel. 

Advent Choir: We invite Redeemer Church members to join us in helping our church body celebrate the Advent season by participating in our seasonal Advent Choir. Both men and women are needed. Women’s Fall Bible Study: Mondays, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., Mondays through December 4, in the conference room at Redeemer Church. Ladies, come explore the encouraging vision from Titus 2 using Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth’s book, “Adorned: Living out the Beauty of the Gospel Together.” We will study one of God’s good and beautiful plans for discipleship — woman to woman, older and younger, side by side, and life to life. Contact Linda Huffman with questions.
