Observance of the Lord’s Supper this Sunday. Please use this weekend to examine yourself and your relationships with others according to 1 Corinthians 11:27-33, that we may together brightly reflect the unity of the body of Christ when we come together at the Lord’s table this Sunday.

First Sunday Lunch & Prayer: This Sunday, September 2, 1:00 p.m., in Fellowship Hall. Please join us this evening for fellowship over food and in prayer. Questions? Contact Wes Duggins.

Membership Matters Class: Beginning This Sunday, September 2 – October 7, 9:15-10:15 a.m., in the Education Building. Membership Matters will provide you with information about Redeemer, as well as answer questions about what it means to be a believer in Christ. You will also have an opportunity to learn about how to get involved in our community of faith. Though this course is a prerequisite for membership at Redeemer, anyone can and is encouraged to attend. Sign up in the foyer or on The City.

Servants Needed: Soon, the nursery ministry will be beginning a new quarter of scheduling. As always, we are in need of servant-hearted members willing to love and care for our youngest children. If you have a child in nursery, please make sure you are on the rotation. Even if you don’t have small children, please consider serving as a way to build up the health of our whole body as we show small children Jesus’ love and free up parents to worship and feast on the Word. The application is here. Please contact Rachel Rogers with any questions.

Game Night: Friday, September 7, 6:00 p.m., in Fellowship Hall. Bring your favorite table games or snacks for a game night hosted by the West Care Group. Enjoy the fun, stay as long as you like, and leave when you must. Questions? Contact Gary Trojacek.

Ladies Craft Fellowship: Saturday, September 89:00 a.m.-noon, in Fellowship Hall. Contact Julia Stonecipher for current project information.

September Sack Lunch Members Meeting: Sunday, September 9, 12:45-2:15 p.m., (or beginning 45 minutes following the close of the worship gathering) in Fellowship Hall.

Fall Children’s Choir: Mondays, 4:00-5:00 p.m., beginning September 10,  in the Education Building. Children, ages 5-12, are invited to have fun learning about music while preparing songs for worship. If you have questions about the choir, please contact Adrian Maddox or join the Children’s Choir Parents group on The City.

2018 Fall Women’s Bible Study: Mondays, 7:00-9:00 p.m., beginning September 10, in Fellowship Hall. Starting this Fall 2018 and continuing through Spring 2019 we will enter into a two-part Bible Study in the book of Isaiah. Questions? See Linda Huffman.

Gifts of every size and color are accepted – do this on your own or as a care group: gun shooting lessons, babysitting, a quilt, lawn mowing, gift cards, plants, books, frozen dinners, a girl’s lunch date, photography sessions, music lessons, you name it – anything goes! We would love to see your gift bless the women at the retreat. Questions? Contact Holly Dean or Sylvia Dipnarinesingh on The City or call Sylvia (817.875.2713).
