2018 Women’s Retreat: Beginning tonight, Friday, 6:00 p.m.- Saturday, 8:00 p.m., October 5-6, in Fellowship Hall. Join us for Alive in Him: How Being Embraced by the Love of Christ Changes Everything taught by Sylvia Dipnarinesingh, Takiyah Ford, Linda Huffman, and Rachel Rogers. We will be blessed through worshipful music and testimonies, as well as good food, opportunities for fellowship, crafts, and other activities. Registration is $50, which includes four meals, a craft activity, and a resource book.

Observance of the Lord’s Supper this Sunday. Please use this weekend to examine yourself and your relationships with others according to 1 Corinthians 11:27-33, that we may together brightly reflect the unity of the body of Christ when we come together at the Lord’s table this Sunday.

First Sunday Lunch & Prayer: This Sunday, October 7, 1:00 p.m., in Fellowship Hall. Please join us for fellowship over food and in prayer. Questions? Contact Wes Duggins.

Game Night: Friday, October 12, 6:00 p.m., in Fellowship Hall. Bring your favorite table games or snacks for a game night hosted by the West Care Group. Enjoy the fun, stay as long as you like, and leave when you must. Questions? Contact Gary Trojacek.

Reformation Sunday Picnic: Sunday, October 28, following the worship service, at Central Park.

Fall Children’s Choir: Mondays, 4:00-5:00 p.m., upstairs in the Education Building. Children, ages 5-12, are invited to have fun learning about music while preparing songs for worship. If you have questions about the choir, please contact Adrian Maddox or join the Children’s Choir Parents group on The City.

2018 Fall Women’s Bible Study: Mondays, 7:00-9:00 p.m., in Fellowship Hall. Starting this fall and continuing through spring 2019 we will enter into a two-part Bible Study in the book of Isaiah. Questions? See Linda Huffman.

Servants Needed: Soon, the nursery ministry will be beginning a new quarter of scheduling. As always, we are in need of servant-hearted members willing to love and care for our youngest children. If you have a child in nursery, please make sure you are on the rotation. Even if you don’t have small children, please consider serving as a way to build up the health of our whole body as we show small children Jesus’ love and free up parents to worship and feast on the Word. The application is here. Please contact Rachel Rogers with any questions.
